We Are Dedicated to Making April 20th an Official Day of Celebration

Recognizing the dedication of those individuals and groups who have fought to reform cannabis laws, VA-420 stands for Victory Achievement for the cannabis culture.

A celebration of those working to spread the truth about the endocannabinoid system and our connection with the plant by bringing to light its many benefits, by educating the public, and by bringing awareness of the science behind the fiber, food, and medicine this plant offers.

This is also a celebration of freedom for millions of everyday people in Virginia and even around the world, as well as freedom for those imprisoned for using this beneficial plant.

Our Mission

The Virginia 420 Festival is organized by Virginia Cannabis Events, a dedicated team of advocates and community organizers passionate about cannabis education and reform. Our mission is to create a welcoming space where cannabis enthusiasts, advocates, educators, and curious newcomers can come together to celebrate, learn, and connect.

We believe that cannabis reform is about more than changing laws — it is about changing hearts and minds. Through our festival and related events, we aim to destigmatize cannabis use, promote responsible consumption, and advocate for social equity in the emerging legal market.

The Festival Experience

Each Virginia 420 Festival brings together live music, educational speakers, vendor marketplaces, and interactive workshops. From growing classes taught by experienced cultivators to talks from lawmakers and reform advocates, our programming is designed to inform and inspire.

The festival takes place at the Sedalia Center in Virginia, a scenic venue that provides the perfect setting for a day of outdoor celebration. With ample space for stages, vendor booths, and gathering areas, the center creates an inviting atmosphere for attendees of all backgrounds.
